"Edinburgh Cityscope – creating a global city of learning"

Presenters:  Morna Findlay – Senior Project and Programme Manager, IS Applications Division & Richard Good, Senior Analyst Developer, IS Applications Division.

“Edinburgh Cityscope is attempting to gather Open Data about Edinburgh in order to turn the city into an interactive learning environment. We aim to bridge the gaps between programmers, data scientists and non-specialist users enabling all staff and students to make their own products from open data about Edinburgh.

Come to the lunchtime seminar and find out more about:

•             Who Cityscope is for and why it is there

•             The challenges we face in making data open

•             Some the features we have already developed
